I have to admit that I am one lucky Mama. This morning, instead of getting up before the sun to start my day, I decided to stay in bed snuggled up reading for a couple hours. I could hear the kids in their room playing and every now and then they would make an appearance. First to show me their painted faces and feather headdresses, another time to bring me a book to read to them, and then finally to tell me that breakfast would be ready soon. Wow.......I should stay in bed more often.
Jetta, with Johns watchful eye, conceptualized, cooked, and served the best breakfast I have had in a long time. She fried bacon and then chopped it up into a quiche and even drizzled bacon grease on top (that's my girl!). She served sauerkraut on the side and a cup of tea. So delicious!
